Shqipe Malushi is an Internationally Renowned Writer, Leadership and Gender Issues Trainer and Human Rights Activist & a coffee cup reader from USA. She lectures on democracy, human rights, and crisis management in the US, Albania, Kosovo, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Chile and India. She worked in Kabul as adviser on gender issues and empowerment. She was born in Peja, Kosovo and completed her studies in linguistic at the University of Belgrade, studied at Sarah Lawrence Collage, NY, and holds a Masters in Arts and Science from New York University, NY. She was awarded the NATO medal for her support to the Kosovo Peacekeeping Mission and the Angel of Peace Prize from Women's Day Magazine, and was selected 2003 Women of the Year by the Refugee Women's Network.
