The Indian Astrology system is based on Vedic Astrology, the oldest form of Astrology known to mankind. It goes back approximately 5000-7000 years.
Unlike the Sun sign based Western System, Indian Astrology uses the Moon Sign as a basis of all predictions. The Moon changes its sign every two and half days, making it impossible to judge the Moon sign simply by the date of birth. The Indian System uses the date, place and time of birth to calculate the horoscope and predictions with greater precision.
